Pieris - new growth getting wrecked by the snow

Pieris - new growth getting wrecked by the snow (Pieris japonica (Lily of the valley bush))

begining of april - late very cold spell has spelt the end for all of this lovely new growth on my pieris plant. still as it is such an established plant it will recover, as i remeber the same thing happened last year, with late frosts and it soon enough recovered and still put on a fantasic display which went on right until early summer. i have checked the plant out and there are lots of new buds waiting to spring into action. will have to wait until the frost as finished to cut off any damaged bits

See who else is growing Pieris japonica (Lily of the valley bush).

See who else has plants in genus Pieris.
