From the pictures you've shown, I have to agree with your accessment. This is nice but not 1st place material.

There were some Streptocarpus at The Shrewsbury Flower Show that i would have agreed with having 1st, but not these.
(I will put the Shrewsbury pictures on soon)

This got 1st. But it wasn't the best flowering pot plant, there were a few that were better - the judge must have a soft spot for Streptocarpus.
