That is what I'm hoping for these, Elke. I've noticed a real lack of oriental lily in any gardens, all asiatic. Worth a try. :-)

Beautiful flowers - unfortunately we don't have them in the garden or house any more - we had a leaflet from The Cats Protection warning of the dangers of the pollen to cats - if they get the tiniest amount on their fur and then swallow it (when they're grooming) it's 99% certain they'll die!
The day we read the leaflet I'd been given a bouquet of a dozen beautiful pink lillies by a friend & had just carefully arranged them in a vase - resolved it by standing over the dustbin with them & carefully cutting off the stamens!
