Ray and his shorts, Gerry is the same with his jeans, don't throw them away......they will come in handy whe I decorate etc. etc. The last pair had a big hole in before they hit the dustbin. I always knew when the heron had been around....the goldfish wouldn't come up to the surface for a long time. We ended up putting a black net over the top of the pond. We made sure we left a gap in the shallow end for the frogs etc to get in and out.

Yes, and we shall probably do the same Lindak. The people 3 doors up the road had her pond emptied by the Heron........and we do see him fly over most days.......

They fly low over here and I've seen them land on the rooftops.

Yes they do here too Lindak.....and you see them land on shed roof's at the bottom's of the gardens.....cheeky beggers.....surveying.............Lol
