My first time with this climber, its done really well. I find most annual Ipomaeas are good late summer plants. I aways push a few seeds in the ground at the base of roses or clematis/sweetpeas and forget about them.
I then get a pleasant suprise when they bloom. As I type this, looking out of the window I can see Ipomaea tricolor 'Heavenly Blue' I.lobata (as above) and an Ipomaea that has white with purple stripe blooms. I find they thrive in my dry,thin and poor soil.

I grew this too this year Poaanna.....arent the flowers gorgeous. I love the way they shade through.......
