A view over the lake from the trail. Such a peaceful scene, and of course all those berries. I whistled alot, afraid I'd walk up on a bear....lol.

Thank you all. My favorite hiking whistle or song is Teddybear Picnic. I like the start "if you go out to the woods today, you better not go alone...." Next summer i might carry in a little boat to spend some time floating around. :-)

This is the first hike I took when I came here in 98. I was addicted immediately. Nothing about Denali can be taken for granted.
