What a fantastic photo. My Echinops haven't flowered so well this year although I planted a new white one and that had 2 good blooms, hopefully more next year!

These do quite well here but the wind tends to topple them. Never knew you could get white ones, bet they're lovely.

Glad you get such a beauty during what must seem such a short summer ..did you suffer much with those hurricane winds ?
Perhaps I should re phrase that as sounds like a medical complaint ..lol

LOL, BB.
Hurricane Bill made himself quite known in other areas of the province, but my area got away with some strong winds, a wicked lightening show and a fair bit of much needed rain (we've been under a water ban all summer!-in Canada's rainiest, foggiest city!). I did stake quite a few things, just in case, and it may all be needed yet before this season is over.
