So annoying when plants do that - well help them keep their heads up because they're certainly lovely blooms.

Many gardeners trim sedum back... the Chelsea Chop....
this means the flower heads grow by autumn, but the plants are not so tall, so they don't flop over...

I'm pleased to have been of help...
Notice that one member warns about not getting the sap on your skin or in your eyes !!!

I've tried trimming my Sedum Spectabile in early summer and it does result in a more compact flowering plant in the autumn. :o)
