I like this one Tate, well taken. I bought some two years ago but they only grow 18" high which is useful as it prevents them blowing over. Isn't it amazing that we have the same plants yet live so far from eachother. I like to converse with folk from the USA as they have so much in common with us here in England, not least the use of feet and inches ect. I like your description of yourself, especially the bit where you describe gardening as your 'religion' My Dahlias are still blooming, not sure I'd like your shorter season but I would like your Summers.

Heron, nice to hear from you! I am originally not from US but immigrated here a few years ago. You are absolutelly right - it is very interesting to compare diff regions, weather, and flora. Actually, inches and Fahrenheit degrees are driving me nuts since I was born in the world of metric system: ))))))))))))))) No offence.
