Think you managed to catch the upside of a water boatman beetle usually seen upside down rowing across the water ... a good sign of water clarity in your pond.

Probabl expalins why he jumped out of my begonia pot and into my lavender scuttel and finally out on to the table where you see him here....lol!!

Cool little thing tho and good if that is right about the pond water!!
