someone said these are edible, are they?

did a search and found they are edible, some types better flavoured than others, there''s even a fuchsia berry jam reciepe.
these ones (tom thumb) are quiet sweet. I ate 2..lol

Please note that on the leaflet from the British Veterinary Association, entitled Pets and Poisons, Fuchsia species are listed as substances of low-toxicity.

i googled the berries from fuchsia and found loads of recipes for jams :-).
not sure if i would have enough berries from the ones in my garden tho to make any lol

The larvae of Elephant hawk moth often bury themselves in the berries ..if you feel an itching sensation across your back as your wings develop - and find yourself being drawn to lights ..oooh

There you go lol ..could be worse as they are very pretty especially the pink ones . Thanks for this I too had no idea they were edible fuschia berry jelly or jam sounds very exotic .. Hywel should be able to open his own factory.

I just tasted one- like a cross between grape & pomegranate! Quite nice, but not very filling!
