I love delphiniums and these are beautiful. Slugs eat any I plant overnight - what's the secret Simbad?
I'm just looking through the Cottage Garden Section which is why my comment is so late. G

I love them too Ginellie, glad you like them, have just sent for seed for a pink variety to grow this year.
Don't seem to get too much slug damage, do get quite a few thrushes in the garden though so that helps, find loads of empty snail shells, did watch one last year while I was sitting by the pond, quite near these delphiniums, smashing them on the gravel path, he was having a right feast. Don't use anything else though,my problem is rabbits have to cover them all with wire mesh to stop them being eaten, which they grow through and also helps support them, don't usually plant them out till they're quite big either, don't think the slugs like the leaves when they get a bit tougher.
