Indeed we do, and yes, the maples are wonderful, even here in Nova Scotia we get some colour. I get the message, BB - stay positive!! I'll try not to think about the winter ahead!

I know you have to prepare for them ..saw what we would consider to be small houses being filled with logs for the winter ..and depths of snow we just couldnt move in . There are 60 million of us crammed on island not much bigger than Nova Scotia .. that must be as scary to you as all your space is to us .
Had friends over from Canada and could not believe there were any green spaces ..genuinely believed that so many in such a small space the whole country would be concrete..lol

I'm always amazed when I fly from Gatwick to Cornwall on the little shuttle plane how much GREEN space there actually is - it's all fields and woods - the population must be very concentrated in your cities and towns for that to be possible.

Yes but we often get really nice Sept / Oct and of course your maples turn the most beautiful shades .
