thanks Jac, this little front garden is a sun trap, hardly gets any frost, sheltered and has some semi shade for the Rhodos - have'nt found much that does'nt like it yet! - and i have plans for the other side too - you can't see it in this photo as it is just a big dug out mess with hardcore everywhere, but jay has just managed to get the angle grinder back off his mum - so i will be nagging lots for him to get his arse in gear to sort out the other side, so i can get it all planted up!

i know what you mean Jac, Jays little projects last a couple of years if i let them, he started digging out this bed for me september time last year and i am still waiting! - i am pretty hands on myself but there are certain things a woman with a bad back and a two year old in toe just can't do! and unfortunately this is one of them. still he got the angle grinder back last night and the weather forcast is good for the weekend - so there will be no excuses!
