You could be right, or that it knows it will always get a meal, not seen it for a couple of weeks, think it took off while it was malting.

I have noticed them all drifting back, staking their claim before winter ..:o)

OB i love them, think its the same one thats been coming here for a few years, she does'nt fly of when i go towards her and nether does Mr Blackbird, and all this summer when any other blackbirds came in the garden the pair of them chased them off, and the other blackbirds where not quite as friendly as this pair are.
