We felt sorry for this cherry tree on sale for $15 in July, as it looked so sad. It lost all its leaves when we planted it, but we kept on watering and pruning back the dead twigs. Now it thinks it's spring...

Yes indeed. It's covered in new buds. I think it appreciates its rescue and will reward us next spring!
