this was about a week after we started and we were about half way down the lawn.

What did you do with all the greenery afterwards??

some of the greens went in the compost heap and some is drying out for browns later in the year. some of it went in a bonfire as we had about four 8ft piles. the nettles were at least 7ft high and the stems on the thistles were about 6 inches wide.

Ooohh!! Horrible - I hate nettles - they always 'get' me, however careful I am!
