Thank you for the welcome Irish, Dee and Milky. Must get more of this beauty planted soon as our rainy season starts. It can cover my shed in the first year and is reasonably hardy here.

Welcome :o)

Hello Janette and thank you. Northants ... I lived near Aylesbury and used to buy my shoes in Northampton ... not surprising, huh?

Blodyn/Hywel ... thank you for the welcome. I too am Welsh, from Pontypridd. Slightly different, but one of my aunts was called Blodwyn ... what does that mean?

Blodwyn (male) Blodwen ( female) means white flower
Why was she called BlodWYN ?

Perhaps I have it wrong Blodyn ... we always called her Aunt Rene (Irene). Her twin was Gwendolyn (or would that be Gwendolen?) and we called her Auntie Iris. I'll ask my Sis sometime but she's in Florida at the moment.

It's Gwendolyn.

Gwen is female.

So Gwen-dolyn is female
and Blod-wen is female.

By the way you can call me Hywel like on my little photo. Blodyn is my cat's name :o)
I hope you'll enjoy GoY. It's very friendly here.

Thank you for the explanations as I really didn't have a clue ... and say that with a Welsh accent .... (te,he)

My cats are Magic Sam (aka Boo), he's English, big, black and beautiful and 14 and one of the most travelled cats around (from Bucks to the IoW frequently and then from IoW to Portugal for several years), Then there's Calvos (Cal) who is Portuguese and black and white and beautiful and 3 years old and we found him just after he was born in 34c weather in a plastic carrier bag at a dustbin with his sister. Now we also have Chere Khan (aka Munchkin) who is Portuguese and a beautiful tabby and 4 months old who was found the day she was born with her four brothers and sisters in a plastic sandwich bag at the dustbins. We love cats.

Perhaps I'll write a blog on my cats .... mmmmmm xx

It would be interesting to read about your cats in a blog. I love them too.

I'll take a look at the rest of your photos soon.
