Arumungam Eggplant/ Aubergine 3 to 4 inch round striped fruit. From Tamil Nadu, India this heirloom is for stews, curries or stuffing. Rather bitter: be sure to soak in salt and drain.

Well, it was productive with fruits a good size for our small family. I don't like eggplant all that well to begin with, although it grows well in this climate. Maybe I need some better recipes!
