Ducks in garden

Hi Janette - yes they are - first ducks and first wildlife generally! Early days tho... :-) They came back yesterday morning, but I haven't seem them since.

they be nesting nearby,once the babies hatch they start looking for a pond,good luck.

We should form a club for gardens which play host to pairs of Mallards?? Because we have cats in our neighbourhood, our visitors often sit on the roof ridge tiles of our house before flying down into the garden and pond.

Yes,Sid....here they are ! If it is this pair flying around you will easily tell.The drake has a very distinctive white breast hasnt he ?

I'd forgotten that.......will look out for him :-)
