You mention of sleet and ice sent a shiver down me! Such a shame when everything is looking so good.

Each year, I was sad too. And it has looked good this year. I looked out this morning and yes.......white, white, white. I spend the evening cuttings flowers so I've three bouquets to looks at. This was long overdue, so I got more summer than usual. Thanks guys. I'll keep posting a litlle behind so no white will show up in the photos for a while. :-)

Oh what a pity GT, it is looking so pretty. I know the feeling, we had the most severe weather for a long time last winter, well below freezing at times and there they were, all brown and curled up, my lovely Geraniums, didn't get them in before it came :o(

Aw, nothing sadder than the one that could have been saved. Geranium just goes in even hints of frost. I've gone out in summer to find one suddenly flat and crispy. Each fall it is hard to let everythiong go. I was surprized most of these just kept going under the snow and came back for a while after.
