Agave blooming

Is that spike going to open out into a big flower Aleyna?

actually a tall spike all flowered... is very pretty... pity i couldn't find one blooming :o(

I see Agave species grow wild there also. I'm sure

How do you differentiate agaves from yukas?

Agave species do not grow trunks. Yucca species have true woody trunks.

I think you do a very good job of identifying the plants.

Sometimes it's not so easy to identify certain plants.
