Driving me batty

I have been trying to photograph a bat in flight. As they come out around dusk lighting is a problem. The speed at which they fly causes problems getting them in shot let alone in focus. Any way this is the best I have managed so far.

Yes - I have bats flying over my garden in the evenings. In fact I am surprised if I cannot see any. I have moved on from dragon flies in flight during the day. The bats present a greater photographic challenge for the stated reasons.

You're so lucky, we had a stray one come over our garden a few years back for a few weeks but that's all:-)

I get them here too, although not seen any for a few nights now. I often think I'd like a photograph, but they are so darn quick. So I would say 'well captured' with this shot!
