I quite often have all my pots emptied of summer bedding by now Sandra but we're having such a lovely September that they're still flowering and growing!

know what you mean paul, ive still a few in flower, its my raised bed thats looking bare, but ive put bulbs in and no room to pop anything with colour for winter, but its my first year so will rearange it in spring,, trial and error really

Yes,Homebird , they've been excellent. Although it's been very dry and windy here so I've had to give the big ones a good watering a few times recently!(Not something I expect to need to do in late September!)
