Admist the Hakonechloa Macra Aureola I'm beginning to plant dots of pink and white. Closest is a Knautia Macedonica that has just started to take root and there is a large clump of white Penstemon 'White Bedder' on the other side. This side, there's an established Kniphofia Uvaria with some ferns and to the left an Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood'. I haven't touched the pond yet. The water lilly has been there a long time and is using the kid guard metal grating to support itself.
