I'll be interested to see how you get on with doronicums spritz. Up here, the slugs eat them faster than I can plant them :-(

I am not sure why they haven't been eaten, except that I planted three baby Clematis last month and the horrible snails and possibly slugs too have gobbled them up - perhaps they were full after that! Do you think that they might produce new shoots from what's left?
