This Jamaican White Bougainvillea has taken over practically half of this house...which is always in bloom. I see this Bougainvillea almost everyday on my way home. Finally got a photo on Sept. 30, 2009.

Thanks! Yes, they grow very large here...I'm sure they grow large there in Brazil also...since they're a native.

Good grief, hope ours never gets as large as that, but, what a fantastic sight.

Yours would never grow this large in a pot. LOL! :>)
This photo doesn't show the stems and flowers on the roof (which it cover half of).

Unbelievable...

To me it's just a common sight. Bougainvillea covers very large fences and climbs up 75ft (24m) tall palm trees here in Southern California.
