Newbies Jess and Peanut.

My aggressive little Rabbit has gone to a Sanctuary run by friends of mine where he is living in a commune with Rabbits wth problems and he is very happy amongst them all. I took Peanut as a rescue as he and my little Jess feel in love, she is the black and white one. All it now happy and peaceful in Bunny World...........;o)

He's a neutered male and 2 years old and Jess is only 16 weeks. She tries to get under him when she is cold LOL. It has just cost me an arm and a leg for a big run for them, as I just can't barricade the garden from them, she should be in the high jump as she can leap over anything and he just pushes and shoves with his weight until he knocks everything down. I was losing plants at an alarmiing rate :o)

Thanks Terra. They took Jess away for a couple of days to introduce them to each other and it went very well, so they both came back home.

She is with Peanut, when I open their bedroom door in the hutch in the morning, you can feel the warmth coming out. I love that smell of warm hay, reminds me of my courting days in Cornwall LOL

Sssssh LOL. My friend and I left jobs as Secretaries and took off to a Hotel on the beach in the Roseland Peninsular. She as a Waitress and I was a Chamber Maid. I met my Husband down there, he came from a local village. Sadly we only lasted 17 years............nuff said :o) Great place for courting though!!!!!

No Terra LOL. My other little Rabbit, small as he was, tried to beat Jess up, that is why he went to the Sanctuary, they took Jess to see which neutered male she would get along with and vice versa and so Peanut came home top. He is very protective of her and he is quite a large rabbit. Thanks Jacque, cute they are but they have driven me mad escaping into the garden, nothing I did would hold them, so it was dig into my savings again and buy a run for them with a roof on, thankfully that keeps them happy. I'm fast running out of space for my Zoo!!

Great isnt it :) lol ,My Rabbit Mr Hash kept getting out his Garden Run & i didnt know how he was doing it ??? So i watched him from behind a Buddlia 1day & saw him Jump up & hang onto the wires edge with his Tiny front paws & peddling away with his back legs Until the Top opened enough 4 him 2 lift himself up& through?? I was Gobb Smacked 2 see him do that Pam as he`d got into My street twice & on both times my neighbour brought him home ! I now put heavy Flower Pots on top so he cant push up the Lid ;)

I know, I barricaded the yard part with 3ft high partitions and I couldn't understand how I kept on finding Jess in the garden, so I did like you and watched, she ran and leapt at the barricade, hung on with her paws, scrabbled with her back legs and got over into the garden. Peanut is too heavy to do it, hence the new run which they cannot get out of!! I put two bricks to make sure the top stays down!
