This little pot is stil holding it's colour, it's the largest one by the Pigeons. I was wondering if I pointed the wall next Spring and repainted it, then wrapped some wire around the drainpipe, I could grow a climber in a tub to wrap around the horrible pipe and it would disguise it - do you think that would work!!

That's the trouble Paul, there is no sunshine there. It is the wall from my alleyway into the garden and the pigeons home lives there, that is why I tried to brighten it up for them, a dismal place to look out on really, for two special birds!!

That's a bit of a problem then. Trouble is , if you put Ivy (or similar) there, it will cling to the wall as well as the pipe!

Ooops, I put this one on twice........idiot! I know Paul, I once had Ivy up that wall and it was a menace to get rid of. There is still a little piece higher up. Maybe when I get the wall looking good, I could paint the pipe with vines, leaves and flowers!!

ROFL, it just might. I love painting bits and pieces on things, so you never know what I might come up with. Infinitely less aggro than trying to grow a plant up there............

Can't see why not if big enough pot.Perhaps a Clematis or something flowery if enough sunlight there.
