Trees all gone!

It looks so much more open, i'm not sure i'd plant more tall shrubs there, maybe some that reach 6-7' maximum, just enough to shield you from next doors windows.

That's what I was thinking too Louise - perhaps moving some of my tub plants to this area although I had ordered a Forsythia and a couple of Photinia duting the summer they're not due to arrive until November. Will take a couple of photos of the tubs to show what's there at the moment....

Could you put a trellis on top of the fence? Then you could grow nice climbers on it!
