I would have said this was typical chestnut fencing even the colour?

Yes, Chestnut is a good fencing material (usually seen as the Chestnut pailins with wire strands, use to be used alot around show grounds and parks etc). It can be cleft (split down its grain) easily hence the wavy look and its durable. The silver grey colour in the photo is fairly typical of the natural distressed colouring to many timbers but looks beautiful here especialy with the wavy rails.

Yes we do MS we are spoilt for choice lots of pretty country walks with the beach and forestry commission places too.

Daisies as gorgous as ever but I also love the cleft (chestnut?) fencing.
