this is beautiful. it looks like my helianthemum lemon queen though. is mine missed labelled do you think?

No you have got it absolutely right, I was given it last Autumn my friend told me the name I could remembert Lemon Queen and just thought it must be a rudbecia but failed to find it, now I know the reason why!! many thanks for that, it is now correctly recorded!

oh glad thats sorted. I think rudbeckia's tend to have a more prominant cone in the centre. a bit like an echinacea but in yellow colours.
