live and learn...I never expected to see that...for some reason I thought that the beaucarnea propagated by offset...hmmm... they are very pretty.

I suppose they can be grown from seed...however, I'd prefer cutting-grown plants. They bloom faster and grow a little faster.

Wow: never seen them bloom! Do cuttings get the caudex base? And then does the cut tree gets multiple heads?

Well, I know the cut trees get multiple heads and I do believe cutting-grown trees can develop a caudex...however, I'm not positive.
