What a great idea - it's a lovely display.

The basket found in the shed was just too grubby for use as anything else.. Cleaned and disinfected as best I could, then lined with a black bin bag, stabbed holes in the bottom with scissors, put in a shallow layer of gravel (nicked from the garden), then added the plants. might have spray-painted the basket first, if I'd thought about it at the time. :-)

I think the basket is perfect as it is David, Love your planting, it looks Gorgeous..

No I think paint makes things look cheap some times, natural is best.
