Another of the small-flowered asters. This variety has off-white flowers with pink centres and grows up to four feet tall. Reliable late flower, it can still be in bloom in November in a mild autumn

Looks rather like a Spirea... I wonder why the name?

I'm growing this (thought it was Black Prince as both have dark maroon leaves, but since checked the label). Mine is tall like this, but saw it pinched back to about 18" very full & nice at the extension service.
