I've received some of Hywel's 'sausages' too, Ian, and like you I have put mine in a big pot.

Well with all the work going on around here it was either a big pot or it could be dug up and moved lots ............ Lol

What on earth are you all talking about?? Sausages in a pot? I prefer sausages on my plate or even in Yorkshire pud but in a plantpot????

Lol Gilli - I'll let Ian explain!

I didn't get any - I asked Hywel if the one I have is the same as his - and it is!

Work that out, Gilli! LOL.

LMSO, I never thought my nickname for this plant would attract so much attention! I still don't know what it's proper name is?

Sanguisorba hakusanensis :o)
Don't know if it has an English name.

'Burnet', Hywel.

Thank you :o)
We have wild ones growing around here.

18 Oct, 2009

Really? Can you see the resemblance?

18 Oct, 2009

Slightly.
The wild ones are called Salad Burnet I think. They're brown and stumpy but I can see they are of the same family. The leaves are similar aswell.
