With all of the wild violets that I have growing in my yard I can hardly believe that I went out and bought a violet ! Had to have this one though.

Oh, I understand the impulse...it is gorgeous... are the leaves toothed? very interesting to ponder who the parents of this one might have been, or is it a hybrid? These days crosses are so common that it is sometimes hard to know what it is you're looking at...lol.
