thanks Mb... this is a native Lobelia...and the blue is a wonderful clear blue.this ones single plant is a little lonely..it's a clumping plant. It's blooming along with the Monk's Hood and the rose in the pic (my oringial mini) all have survived a prolonged cold spell...they amaze me. The bergenia leaves are turning a bronzy red...the brunnera (left) hasn't done much all summer...now it looks great... and the sage (behind the rose) is tall and taking over! What a strange summer season we have had.
