My beautiful girl surveying her new kingdom!

Ah this one is kept very well fed and with a couple of bells on her collar to stop her chasing birds, I think she has finally realised that mummy does _not_ like dead things as presents! We rescued her from an awful life and I was a little worried she would get lost when we moved as our old house was over 100 miles away, but there is so much lovely garden for her to explore here (and my old woodwork project from school to sit on!) that so far she hardly ventures over our walls (touch wood!), then again being a spoilt little madam she hasn't got much reason to be!
Thank you for your comments here and about my mystery fruit - which everyone seems to agree is a quince - Dorjac, I am shocked by the response I've got from all my novice questions and photos, so it's been a lovely and very educational evening!

She likes it, obviously! Is her name really 'Puppy'?

hehe yes it is I'm afraid Spritzhenry! She was nameless when we found her and, whilst I'm a dab hand with horses and dogs, I've not really had much to do with cats before so the name was to try and keep me a little more in my comfort zone hehe! Although saying that she behaves like a dog most of the time -playing fetch with paper balls!- so we think it rather suits her!

Oh she's a sweetie, Numbaten! I see from her ears that she knew full well that you were right behind her!
Welcome to GoY...and thank you so much for signing the Cat De-Clawing blog.
Your house and garden sound wonderful!

You can see my Lab on my icon. Elle. His name is 'Henry'. I don't think he'd answer to 'Kitty' or 'Pussy'!!!!! LOL.

I had one like your girl sitting on our garden seat this morning. When I took a picture she got very wary. I think she likes a bit of bird watching in this garden, as there are lots of sparrows.
