Many people feel Australia Brush Cherry is overly used in California as hedges, shrubs and trees. This is a 60 foot / 20 meters tall tree with thousands of small white flowers. Photo taken Oct. 18, 2009. (the larger trees in background are Canary Island Pines)

Thanks! Yes, this is a large specimen...however, there's many large trees in California. Australian Brush Cherry is very widely grown as hedges because it is so easy to grow. They need no water here once they are established. It is a very fast growing plants also.

Pitta:
I'm sure you would...I've said that to Bernieh also.
California grows more species of Eucalyptus...and
number of trees, than anywhere outside of Australian.
Many people here think they are native trees.

That is a great specimen - don't think I've seen one that tall before ... used to seeing them as hedges too. Love the little flowers on these.
