My husband drilled a couple of holes in the bottom of the chamberpot to improve drainage.

It took us several years to make this garden our own. There had been an enormous mixed conifer hedge along one side, another in the oval bed (on the right of this picture) and another where I'm standing to take the photo.

We had plenty of time to prepare for the move so I was able to take cuttings from some of my favourites to bring with us to Cornwall. It is fun to be starting again.

Thanks for your comments Motinot. I hear from neighbours that the new owners spend their energies elsewhere and that the garden is looking rather neglected.
