It's pretty amazing how large the leaves grow
when it is growing up a tree...and how small
they stay as a houseplant.

I know what you're saying...they are a beautiful sight!
Being from Hawaii...these plant grow wild up in the
mountains in the tropical rain forest...they take over
acres of trees and hang down everywhere with their
gigantic leaves.

All the southern visitors are amazed by them ,they grow down south but ony as an indoor plant.I guess we take all this beauty for granted.

I've got some of those huge leaves myself - it does add some lovely greens to the garden though.
