This Aloe 'Medusa' is growing in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.
It is just starting to bloom. Photo taken Oct. 30, 2009.

Thanks you so much! This specimen was pretty nice
and tall (around 9 feet/ 2.75 meters tall)...it had many flower buds, however, had not started blooming yet.

There are few in the bay area..very prone to rot. Even in soucal.

Most likely not prone to rot here in San Diego...we get so little rain.

I get to see Kew's Aloe collection most day and I love them but you can't beat seeing them growing in the ground and not in pots! As always your pictures are brilliant Andy.
