This tree is well know by everyone for the gorgeous colour of its autumn foliage. There don't seem to be as many around today as there were 20 or 30 years ago.

I would think its been there a number of years. I'd seen it quite often in the summer but I think this year it may have been the first time I've seen it in its autumn colours which is the principal reason for growing it.
The great advantage of having a mobile phone with a good camera is that you don't have to remember to pick up the camera before leaving home & then making sure you have batteries for it! My phone makes a better camera than my old digital camera! The photos are sharper & richer in colour plus I can go up to 2 mp if I want. Very rarely used it at such a high resolution though!

I do really like the big candles that form on these and show all winter as well as the foliage. Phones sure are getting better at getting us the pic we want now than ever. :-)

I'll have to get a bigger hdd to accommodate all the extra photos I've been taking since I got this new phone! As I've been so happy with my Fuchsias in hanging baskets I've taken even more photos of them on the balcony! You can see a few in my pictures & in TT's new blog - I uploaded 3 photos last night & she included all 3 in her blog! Nobody else has more than one!! Favouritism?
LOL! ;-)

:-) I got a new camera because of GOY and I've gone nuts with photos. But another hobby is fun. :-)
I think that would be a little favoritism..lol ;-)
