These lizards are mostly terrestrial but they are often seen climbing trees and spending time hanging about in the branches.

No Morgana - they have very, very sharp claws and they can climb up a tree very quickly. Usually they'll find a branch and just sit on it.

Ha ... can imagine the headline now - crushed by falling goanna! Actually they are quite heavy and I certainly wouldn't want to be underneath a falling one.
