We had 16 tomato plants (3 different kinds) which produced in excess of 120 lbs of fruit. Also had courgettes, cucumber & peppers.

Nothing to beat home made tomato soup in the winter....I just bag up pounds and pounds of the little toms. ...and then make the soup in the winter.....I don't have the time in the season to do the soup-making!!! That way I can also make a stir fry of them as well - and the courgettes etc!!

Just finished one lot of soup today which I took out of the freezer on Tuesday. I love Tomato soup and what's even better is that the rest of my family don't, so more for me!!!!

The CG is a great cook - makes lots of soups. Like you Alzheimer & Paul, put a lot into the freezer & also made up some nice pasta sauce with herbs.
