i planted one in my rockery area dawn, will it be ok over winter?

I leave mine out all winter Sandra , I usually break the smaller ones off and put them in pots in the greenhouse ... just in case we lose everything in a bad winter ..!

Morgana: Yes, they produce a pink flower on a stem
TerraT: No, I dont have others, did years ago but lost them.
I think they must like well drained soil, would you say Amy?
I've always thought of them as rockery plants.
Good tip Amy about splitting them, thanks.
Lidl were selling these off for £1 in a stone pot. But today when I checked it, the pot was full of water, I couldnt believe it didnt have holes in the bottom, never mind, I've removed it now into a drilled pot :-)

Love these plants, been growing them for many years, good tip about putting some away, belt and braces.!!!
