We get them :-) They've eaten a full feeder in a week - I think they have a niger seed radar fitted.

They 'are' supposed to aren't they Dawn ? !!!
Their antennae is adrift though in this region because they don't get attracted to the niger seed that's waiting for them here :-(((

That's a shame Louise, I wonder why. someone else said they didnt go for their niger seed either, I think it may have been Gee in Kent.

I put food out for the birds but i really only get Blackbirds here in the garden.
There are a lot of different birds across the path from the house in what i call 'the jungle' and i put some feeders there too but still no 'takers' !
What's the secret ?
I have a Wren come to the back garden in the real winter months (Dec-Feb) and the Blackbirds and one lone day last winter i had a Goldfinch - hadn't seen him before, haven't seen him since !
Is it me ? ! ! !

How long did let the NIGER seed hang?? the guy at my seed stall said just leave them hanging they will turn up,and sure enough maybe 2or 3 months later but turned up......
