The Holly bush is a few years old now but this is the first year it has berrries on it........

I bought a new one about this time last year, its calld ILEX its suppose to be both male and female growing really well, but no berries yet.

mine took 4 years to get berries on...... but i did buy another small holly bush this year..... so maybe thats why it has berries on it now......

I don't know how holly works but I do know that some plants if you get one of each this does work.

I think ones meant to be a male plant and one female.....lol.......but how you know which is which is beyond me......

Lovely to have berries on your holly, as of yet mine has nt produced any still fingers crossed
