Chamaecparis lawsoniana 'Aurea densa' (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana (Lawson cypress))

planted October 97 about 3ft tall now nearer 5ft. it is being 'absorbed' by J.chinensis 'stricta'.
dont know what to do about it really. it does look nice.

That is a lovely established conifer collection. I have grown C.l aurea densa. but people have never believed how slow they will grow. I had to cut down my Jun. chinensis stricta eventually because it grew too big, but I miss it and thought Jun squamata Meyeri would do instead but it always looks scruffy by comparison.
